Pencil Boxes

In staying true to the value of functionality, I began making functional pieces for the office. I’ve since transformed my standard pencil box with fingers, to profiles that may have significant meaning to someone. For example, the lion  profile is used on Elm that came down during a winter storm at University Park, PA. I’ve also designed ones that resembles a horseshoe, a ferris wheel and a pig that utilize wood from our county fairgrounds.

I will also have select pieces available at the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts.

The pencil boxes at the Arts Festival will be made out of Cherry as well as The Elms from University Park Campus. Some items made from The Elms will have a profile of a lion as opposed to the traditional shaker style “fingers.”
