A few years ago I was looking for a bike to restore and thought it would be nice to find something old and different,"like myself". Since then I have found an interest in the Aermacchi Harley Davidsons. Sometimes called the lightweight Harleys, and made in Italy by Aermacchi.

Bought this bike in late 2009 and worked on getting it cleaned up and ready to ride for Spring 2010. Never going to be a show bike, but I have really gotten hooked on the vintage motorcycles. The Sprints are nice for short rides around town, and my hopes are to restore the Goldwing into a reliable bike for some longer trips through the mountains of central PA. Always looking for something different, and this sure fit that criteria. It is more like a motorcycle frame with a Honda Civic motor bolted in, and an unusual look with motor hanging out both sides of the bike.
I am able to do most of the work on the bikes myself, but occasionally call on the expertise of Chris Riley the owner of Centre Cycle Works here in Bellefonte. He has been a great help on electrical problems and other mechanical issues I have run into. I highly recommend him for any work on new or old bikes.
